- You may encounter problem with Windows the way you're setting your
- system up. I believe I once read some messages talking about Windows not
- liking skipping comm port(s). In other words, COM3 doesn't work if either COM1
- and COM2 is open. It might be wrong but it's worth a try switching the modem
- to COM2. On the other hand, if you insist on using COM3 IRQ5, please make sure
- you disable LPT2 which by default uses IRQ5. Good luck and take care...
